Privacy Policy

I. Introduction

Texas-Academy (“us”, “we”, “our”, or “Texas-Academy”) operates the https://texas-academy.com/ website (the “Service,” and having the same meaning as defined by the Terms and Conditions described herein). We are committed to respecting your privacy. II. Information collection and use

We collect several different types of information that you knowingly and voluntarily provide when you use our Service (such as through forms or profile screens) including registration/account setup information, and that we are able to collect from your web browser, cookies and other similar technologies.

  1. Location Data

We use and store information about your location including local time zone if you enable us to do so (“Location Data”). You can enable or disable location services when you use our Service at any time by way of your device settings.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you reside in the United States, and therefore your use of the Service and any use by us of your Personal Data is not subject to the GDPR.

We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide you with our Service. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes and enforce our legal agreements and policies. X. Policy on “do not track” signals under the California Online Protection Act (CALOPPA)

We do not support Do Not Track (“DNT”). DNT is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked. Your navigation of our Service may be tracked as part of the gathering of quantitative user information.  If you arrive at our Service by way of a link from a third party site that does respond to DNT requests, the recognition of any DNT request you have initiated will end as soon as you reach our Service.

XIII. Children’s privacy

Our Service is not intended or directed at anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”). We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us at privacy@texas-academy.com. If we become aware that Personal Data from children has been collected through our Service without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete this information.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace the Privacy Policy at any time. You are advised to review the Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the new Privacy Policy, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.

XV. SMS Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
